ECI Conference: Geohazards - Technical,
Economical and Social Risk Evaluation
18 - 21 June 2006, Lillehammer, Norway
The conference is aimed
to be a round table for engineers, geo-scientists, social scientists,
public authorities and insurance companies to discuss the human,
environmental and economical consequences of geohazards. The main aspect
of the conference is the interdisciplinary character of the topics to be
dealt with, such as points of view from public authorities, engineers
and geoscientists, insurance companies, economic aspects, social and
human dimensions, new concepts and techniques in geohazard assessment
and mitigation, research and case studies, and impacts of climate change
(sensitivity of hazards, risk to future climate changes).
The
following keynote lectures will be given at the conference:
